Mae Gerlach Kavanaugh

Kavanaugh Mae Gerlach, age 78, resident of East Gull Lake, died Tuesday, October 1, 2002 in Brainerd. She and her husband Sherman were founders and owners of Kavanaugh's Resort and Restaurant on Sylvan Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Wednesday at St. Thomas of the Pines Catholic Church in East Gull Lake. Burial will be at St. Thomas of the Pines Cemetery. Visitation 4- 7 pm Tuesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd, prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation also one hour prior to service Wed. at the church.
