Ponthan Cora B. (Tiny), age 87, of Woodbury, died Wednesday, October 2, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Dean. Survived by daughter, Barbara & husband Jerry Larson; son, Dean II & wife Joyce; grandchildren, Bobby and Lisa Karpowicz, Deanna, Denise & Dean III Ponthan, and Jonathan Larson; great-grandson, Frank (Joey) Schwantes; sister, Barbara Kendall, Davenport, IA; former son-in-law, Bob Karpowicz. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tiny was a life member of the Tanners Lake VFW Auxiliary 8217, Past 4th District VFW Aux. President, and past VFW Aux. Dept. Chief of Staff. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 8, 10 AM at GUARDIAN ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8260 Hudson Blvd., Oakdale. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM with a 4th District VFW Aux. Ritual at 4 PM at WULFF FAMILY SERVICES, WOODLANE MORTUARY, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury, and also 1 hour prior to Mass at church.
