Bertha E. Hilary

Hilary Bertha E., age 97, of Buffalo, formerly of Kimball, died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at the Ebenezer Home, Buffalo. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 5, 2002 at the Kimball United Methodist Church, with Rev. Heather E. McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Maine Prairie Cemetery, Kimball. Friends may call from 5-7 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Bertha E. Hilary was born January 14, 1905 in Catawba, WI to Peter and Nettie (Jansen) Hendricks and lived in Kimball from 1923 until moving to Buffalo in 1989. She married Noris E. Hilary on May 22, 1926 and he preceded her in death by December 28, 1967. She was a homemaker and member of the Kimball United Methodist Church, to which memorials are preferred. She is survived by her 5 children and their spouses, Neil & Sally Hilary of Kimball, Lillian & Donovan Petty of Kimball, DeEtta & Edward Whiteoak of Buffalo, Lee & Willie Hilary of Crystal, Elmer & Irma Hilary of Zimmerman; special friends, Rick & Marg Eberle of Maple Grove; 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, eight brothers, and four sisters preceded her in death. The pallbearers will be Steve & Delroy Hilary, Mark Roser, Dean Petty, John Geers, and John Rothstein.
