Nelson June, 61, of Palm Desert, CA, formerly of New Ulm, died Thurs., Sept. 26, 2002 at her home. Memorial service 1:30 PM Mon., Oct. 7, 2002 at United Church of Christ in New Ulm. Private family graveside services at New Ulm Cemetery. Visitation and reception 4-7 PM Sun., Oct. 6, 2002 at Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Survived by husband, Gary of Palm Desert; daughters, Kristen Nelson and Barbara Nelson of San Francisco; granddaughter, Stella Nelson of San Francisco; mother, June Anderson of Minneapolis; twin sister, Judy Trench & her husband Tom of Brooklyn Center; sister, Jervey Christiansen of Willmar; brother, Perry Anderson & his wife Kate of Edina; brother-in-law, Wallace Nelson & his wife Arlene of Lamberton; sister-in-law, Shirley Schafer & her husband Curtis of Sioux Falls, SD; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
