David D. Flygare

Flygare David Donaven, 53, of Excelsior, passed away on Sept. 27th, 2002 in an automobile accident. Born Sept. 21st, 1949 Willmar, MN to Donaven & Edna (Lund) Flygare of Clara City. Baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Atwater) and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Clara City). Dave was a graduate of Mankato State Univ (1971) with a B.S. in Accounting. Survived by his wife, Lynn Van- Allen Flygare; son, Todd (Sarah); parents, Edna & Donaven; and brother, Steven. Dave was a partner in his firm, Meuwissen, Flygare and Kadrlik and Assoc, P.A. He was involved in many activities, including hunting, salmon and halibut fishing, golfing, woodworking, snowmobiling, watching old Westerns, travelling and working up at the cabin with his wife. He was a member of various organizations including Ducks Unlimited, Safari Club International and Olympic Hills CC. Dave loved life with a passion, and brought his special caring to each person he met. He will be so very missed by family and friends. Memorial service Thursday, Oct. 3rd at 3 pm at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 Cty Rd 19, Excelsior. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Private interment.
