Jeanette Etta Malinsky Herson

Herson Jeanette Etta Malinsky, 78, formerly of Mpls & Los Angeles, and a resident of Sydney, Australia, passed away 9/19/02. Survived by daughter, Michele (Andrew) Herson Herden; son, Ira Herson (Ailsa Cameron); grandchildren, Chana, Alexandra & David Herson of Sydney; siblings, Samuel (Florence) Malinsky, Burton (Rona) Malinsky, Roslyn Tarshish, all of Mpls, Helen (Saadia) Gelb of Kfar Blum, Israel; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Preceded in death by parents, Hannah & Wolf Malinsky, Rabbi David Herson; nephew, Howard Malinsky, M.D. & brother-in-law, Sidney Tarshish. A graduate of the Univ. of MN, Jeanette furthered her education at the Univ. of CA and Sydney Univ. and was a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She was a dedicated single mother who worked hard to raise and support her family. Her free-spirited nature and zest for life touched all who knew and loved her. Memorial service Monday, 9/30/02 at 2 pm, Mpls JCC Chapel (952-377-8330).
