Buzz Gross

Gross Buzz (Arthur Robert Gross), died Sunday, September 22, 2002, 9:11 pm in his home at the age of 66. He died of Prostate Cancer, which he battled for four years. Buzz lived in Glencoe and Winnetka, IL, where he graduated from New Trier East High School. He attended the U of IL and Chouinard Art Institute of California. He was married to Priscilla Johnson, the mother of three children, until 1976. He was a free lance graphic artist and well-respected in his field. He met his wife Myrna Ashland in St. Paul, MN where they lived until 2001 when they moved to Portland, OR. Throughout his time here he had an infectious zest for life. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Jennifer Hunter and Eileen Gross; son, Mark Gross; stepson, Thomas Brenk; and sister, Carol Quilici; and three grandchildren. Services were held in Portland at River View Cemetery Chapel, September 27th and interment followed. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society.
