Wendy (Willard) Wilson

Wilson Wendy (Willard) Wilson, 44, of Southborough, MA, and Groton Long Point, CT, wife of Jonathan McGee, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. The daughter of Carolyn ``Cacky'' (Couch) Willard of West Hartford, CA, and the late John B. Willard, Wendy graduated from the Kingswood-Oxford School and Colgate University. She was a member of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America and the Groton Long Point Yacht Club in the State of Connecticut. Besides Jonathan McGee and her mother, she is survived by daughter, Carolyn Wilson; a son, Zachary McGee; a brother, John R. Willard; a sister, Prudence Hignett; and the father of her daughter, Mark Wilson of West Hartford, CT; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Sept. 23, 2002 at 11:00 AM in Asylum Hill Congregational Church, Hartford, with a reception immediately following. In addition, the McGee/Wilson family will be at home, 7 Vale Terrace, Southborough, MA, receiving friends and family on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002 from 2:00-5:00 PM. Burial is private with no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asylum Hill Congregational Church, 814 Asylum Ave., Hartford, CT 06105 or to the Groton Long Point Women's Organization, PO Box 3697, Groton Long Point, CT 06340. The James T. Pratt Funeral Service, Wethersfield, CT, is in charge of arrangements.
