Dell H. Temte

Temte Dell H. Temte, 86, was born on Dec. 19, 1915 at Elroy, WI, to Louis and Helen Temte. He died on Wed, Sept. 18, 2002. He graduated from Luther College, Decorah, IA, in 1937. He taught in Comfrey, MN. He spent nearly five years in the armed services rising to captain in the finance department. He was employed at Cowin & Co. He became an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Mhaha Falls in 1946. He married Adeline Thompson on Feb. 27, 1943. She survives him. Other survivors include daughters Karen Jacobson, Beth (David) Leeman; sons Bruce (Carolyn), Lee, Dale (Nancy), and Gary (Kris); sisters Gladys (Arnold) Olson, Edna (Ronnie) Johnson; a brother Arnold (Eileen) Temte; eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, and grandson. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Sat., Sept. 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Mhaha Falls, 5212 41st Ave S., Mpls. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials to the Trinity Missions Fund are suggested.
