Swanson David C. Swanson, age 38, died suddenly at home on Sept. 18, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Ron & Marlene Swanson; son, Anthony (Tony); and sister, Pamela. There will not be any service. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that any donations be made to a trust fund for his son, Tony, at Northwest Federal Credit Union, Attn: Retirement Center FBO, Tony Swanson, Benefit Account, 14985 Glazier Ave., Apple Valley, MN 55124. ``When you were born I held you tight. I tucked you in all safe at night and heard your prayer, turned out the light, Then tiptoed to the door I wished I'd stayed a minute more. For life is short, the years rush past. A little boy grows up so fast. No longer is he at my side His precious secrets to confide. The teddy bears are put away There are no longer games to play. No goodnight kiss, no prayers to hear, That all belongs to yesteryear. My hands once busy, now are still. The days are long and hard to fill I wish I could go back and do The little things you asked me to. We love you more than words can say The pain will never fade away We'll always hold you in our hearts. We'll never be too far apart.'' Love forever, Dad & Mom
