Schmitt Warren ``Sarge'', age 78, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sept. 13th. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings; and by his son, Michael; granddaughter, Michelle & grandson, Adam. Survived by Peggy, his loving wife of 58 years; sons, Jeffrey (Debbie), Douglas (Kathleen), David (Barbara), Bradley (Gail), Richard (Diane), Gregory (Jeanne), Christopher (Kelly); daughter, Mary Claire; daughter-in-law Jayne; 18 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. Sarge loved nothing more than to be with his family and was a devoted husband, father & grandfather. Prior to retiring Sarge worked his entire career as an Abstractor, including 29 years in the Ramsey County Abstract Office. Sarge also enjoyed fishing & golf and was an avid bridge player. A funeral Mass for family & friends will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 8694 S. 80th St., Cottage Grove, on Monday, Sept. 16th at 11 AM. Memorials to Phoenix English House, Vadnais Heights, MN. preferred in lieu of flowers. Cremation Society of MN Mpls. 612-825-2435
