Lola Mae Ewing

Ewing Lola Mae, 95, a resident of Westchester Villas in Tempe, AZ, passed away on September 6, 2002. Lola was born in Luverne, MN, on May 18, 1907. She became a homemaker upon her marriage to Joseph A. Ewing on August 4, 1938. They made their home in the Minneapolis area where he was a liquor distributor. She was an active member of the Fourth Baptist Church in Minneapolis. She moved to Arizona in 1995 to be near her nephew, Jim McKersie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Ewing; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. A. William Fiscus; sister, Lila M. Pope and brother, Raymond L. ``Steve'' Fiscus. She is survived by sister, Fay L. Ahles of Sultan, WA; numerous nieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers, and because of her life-long love of animals, memorials to her should be made to the Animal Humane Society of your choice.
