Thomson Jean C. Thomson, an extraordinary woman who lived a deceptively ordinary life. Passionate and singular in her convictions and loves. A petite woman who stood up like a giant against injustices and crawled on all fours to smile into the faces of her grandchildren. Mowing the lawn and practicing yoga until she was 80, Jean passed away in her home August 29, 2002 at 84 years old. She joins her husband and friend since first grade, Walter Terry Thomson; her two sons, Michael and David; and her brother and sister, Tom Long & Doris Fincham. She is survived by her children, Judy Thomson, Peter Thomson & Cindy Gess, Sara & Mike Tappan, Emmy Thomson & Tom Aliprandi, Lisa & Bruce Illies; her grandchildren, Clare, Jenni, Matthew, Allie, Miles, Louis, Kenya, Eliza, Sam, John & Leah; her many nieces, nephews and fans.
