Lorraine Colford

Colford, Lorraine Age 79, from Shoreview, MN, formerly of Augusta, ME, passed into the loving arms of God on Aug. 22, 2015. Lorraine served as a junior high teacher/principal for 30 years in Maine. Most recently, she worked as a distance education coordinator at the MN Department of Health before retiring in July 2005. She got her BA in education from St. Joseph College of Maine and her Masters in hospital administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Lorraine was loved by many for her positive attitude, passion for life, love of people, and sense of humor. Survived by loving wife of 27 years, Beth Feckter; 5 siblings; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Sat., Aug. 29 at Spirit of St. Stephens Catholic Community, 2201 1st Ave S, Mpls. Service at 10 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to St. Stephen's Human Services or the MN Parkinson Foundation.
