Butterwick Fay W. Born Nov. 19, 1908, passed away on Aug. 27, 2002 as a result of complications due to a fall. Preceded in death by wife, Juanita and grandson, Kirk. Survived by twin brother, Foss of Litchfield, MN; children, Kay (Fuad) Porgees, San Diego, CA, Jim of Eagan, MN, Joan (Jim) Schultz, Redondo Beach, CA; grandchildren, Kris, Kristin and Elizabeth; great-grandchild, Joelle. He was a 90-year resident of Faribault, MN. He was an outstanding athlete and recipient of many individual and team awards for basketball while attending Faribault High School and the University of MN. He also was an Honoree of the Faribault Sports Hall of Fame, as well as the Men's Golf Champion of Faribault Golf and Country Club many times. Fay graduated from the University of MN in 1930 with a degree in Physical Education. He retired from the MN Braille and Sight Saving School in 1972 after 40 years of service. He was a long-time member of the Lions Club of Faribault, as well as a member of The Cathedral of Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church of Faribault. Private family services pending.
