Wells, Robert Thomas ‘Bob' NOTE: SERVICE CORRECTION age 65, of Anoka. February 12, 1942 - February 28, 2007. Robert Wells was born in Lamberton, MN, a son of Paul and Lola Wells. He married the love of his life, Opal Butz, on Feb. 26, 1960. He worked at Anoka State Hospital for 20 years and started "Wells Catering" 30 years ago. Bob went home to be with the Lord on Wed., Feb. 28, 2007 at 12:30 PM in Orlando, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, and many loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife, Opal; son, Larry Florke (Miriam); daughter, Barbara Gross (Darin) and son, George (Jill); five grandchildren, Brandon (12), Austin (11), AnnaRose (6), Jordan (4) Gross and Ashley Wells (11); brother, Jerry (Karen); sisters, Doris Stahl and Dawn Youngblood (Rob); nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends. Service 11 AM MONDAY (TODAY) at the Independent Baptist Church of Ramsey, 15650 Sunfish Lake Blvd NW. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation 2-6 PM Sunday at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd. in Brooklyn Center and one hour prior to service at the church.
