Ramsey, Mary Frances Carroll 87, died February 19, 2007, at Oaknoll Retirement Residence in Iowa City, Iowa. Funeral Mass 2 PM Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Iowa City with the Rev. Walter Helms officiating. Following these services a reception will be held at the University of Iowa Athletic Club. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Audubon, Iowa, with a reception to follow in Audubon. A wake for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the University of Iowa Museum of Art, c/o University of Iowa Foundation @ P.O. Box 4550, Iowa City, IA 52244-4550. Her family includes her loving husband, Jim; son, John Ramsey M.D. (Mindy) of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Elizabeth Ramsey D.D.S. of Mpls, MN; grandchildren, Matt Ramsey M.D. (Erika) of Philadelphia, PA, Libby Ramsey Kelly M.D. (Brian) of Salt Lake City, UT, Joe Fricton of St. Paul, MN, Tom Fricton of Mpls/Japan; great- grandchildren, Ellen and Noah Ramsey, Avery Kelly; brother, John Carroll of Denver, CO, cousins, Mary Witt of Bethesda, MD, Joe Carroll of Spencer, IA, and many nieces and nephews.
