Biorn, Donald R. age 89, of Mound, MN, passed away peacefully at his home on the lake, surrounded by his loving family on July 28, 2015. Preceded in death by his loving wife and high school sweetheart Ruth, parents, Otto and Helen Biorn, brothers Warren and Dick and sister Janice. He is survived by his children: Gary, John (Nancy), Jim (Debbie), Linda (Larry) Glass, Debra (Joe) Capistrant and his grandchildren Robert, Coral (Reid) Price, Katie, Michael (Bekah), Steven (Ashley), Diana, Kristen (Luke Lindstrom), Laura Glass (Jeff Schroeder), David, Travis, Sarah, Lucas and great-grandchildren Robbie, Donnie and Hartley. Don leaves behind an extended family which includes three sisters and a brother, many nieces and nephews. Our dad was a loving husband, a devoted father, a tireless volunteer and one who loved to ski and sail. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and family . Memorials preferred to Habitat for Humanity. Memorial service is Tuesday, August 4, at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road in Golden Valley.
