Olson, John Charles The always smiling John of Mound died unexpectedly of a heart attack on July 29 at the age of 65. John is survived by wife of 40 years Michelle; daughters Heather (Rob) Olsen, Hayley (Jeremy) Nelson; adored granddaughter Madison; sisters Janet Olson, Joan (Bob) Quam; niece Maggie; nephew Andy; aunt Esther Olson. He was preceded in death by parents Mel and Helen Olson. John was a retired teamster at Golden's and Murphy Rigging. His passions included motorcycling, hockey but most of all his "best pal" Madison. In lieu of flowers, thoughts and stories of John are preferred. A memorial is scheduled for Monday, August 3 at Good Shepherd Church, Navarre at 4 PM with reception to follow at Mound American Legion.
