Kloyda, DeVere George "Dee" Age 81, of Bloomington, on February 6, 2007. Soon moving to his resting place with a view of air traffic at Fort Snelling. At peace with his Creator and resting without pain, tremors or breathing problems. Reconnoitering with many friends and family who preceded him in departing this life, and with a watchful eye on those of us who remain here now. Survived by loving wife and companion of over a half-century, Terrill; brother, Ron (Ginger); sons, Steven (Jane), David (Deb) and Thomas; daughter, Deanna (Greg) Miller; twin daughters, Denise (Mike) Goodwin and Debra (Tom) Stealey; grandchildren and great grandchild, & nieces. Retired from many years as a housing inspector for the City of Minneapolis. He loved his family and taught us a lot about life, humor, hard work, and love of animals. He proudly served in the US Navy during World War II and always remembered fellow veterans, particularly the disabled. Special thanks to Dr. George Morrison and his staff, to Dr. Susan Seatter, Dr. Maggie O'Connor and the many wonderful nurses he met at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Though tears have fallen, the Kloyda smile remains. He will be deeply missed. Memorial Service 10:30 AM, visitation at 10 AM on Monday, Feb. 12th at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S, Edina 952-924-4100. Visitation 2-4 PM on Sunday, Feb 11th at funeral home. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
