Irene H. Sanko, age 78, of Excelsior. Preceded in death by husband, George F. Sanko and parents, Fred & Alma Heath. Survived by children, Georgia Swanson (Kim), Joe Sanko, Mary Tiffany (Dean), Tom Sanko (Jill), Dave Sanko (Peggy) and Carol Roddy; grandchildren, Debbie Bowling (Graig), Patty Asher (Frank), Brian Bromley, Brittany Sanko, Julia Sjoberg (Jonas), Kris VanZanten, Christopher, Jessica and Shannon Sanko, Carly, Heather, Michelle and Brandon Sanko, Marie Sanko-Kuefler, Anna Roddy and Sara Roddy; great-grandchild, Avril Bowling; brother, Floyd Heath (Bernadene); nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002 at 2 pm, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 680 Mill St., Excelsior (952-474-8868). Visitation Tuesday, 5-8 pm, with prayer service at 6:30 pm AT THE CHURCH in the Gathering Space. Visitation also one hour prior to service Wed. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Shorewood.
