Schmid Yvonne Dorothy Otto Schmid, born December 25, 1917 in Duluth, MN to Armin & Blanche Otto. Survived by children, Diane Schmid Brintzenhofe, Daniel Schmid, and Dale Schmid; grandchildren, Angela Schmid, Tamsen Schmid Barrett, Jannette Brintzenhofe, and Bret Brintzenhofe. Preceded in death by husband, Walter Clayton Schmid; mother, Blanche Otto; father, Armin Otto; brother, Robert Otto; sisters Delores Otto Hulstrand and Hazel Otto Johnson; sister-in-law, Rose Otto; and brother-in-law, Wendel Schmid. Also survived by brother, Jack Otto; sisters, Arlene Otto Waagen and Zita Otto Lundahl; sisters-in-law, Carol Schmid, Vi Otto; brothers-in-law, Miles Lundahl, Wally Hulstrand, and Bill Johnson; nieces and nephews; great- nieces and great-nephews; and many, many friends. Yvonne married Walter Schmid on July 7, 1941. They lived many years in Richfield, MN. Yvonne taught Emotional Behavioral Education at Richfield East Junior High School from 1967-1975. Visitation will be held TODAY, Friday, Sept., 26th from 6-8 PM at Werness Brothers Funeral Home, 3700 Nicollet Ave S, Mpls.
