Kegley Marie (Mrs. Kenneth) Kegley, 63, of rural Dent, died Thursday, August 29, 2002, at her home after a battle with cancer. She was born January 16, 1939 in Barnesville, MN, the daughter of John & Jantje (Stienstra) Kuik. She grew up and attended school in Barnesville. In March of 1957, she married Kenneth ``Ken'' Kegley. The couple resided in Minneapolis, then in Coon Rapids with their children. In 1982, they made their home on Dead Lake and operated Collins Landing for three years. She was also employed by Primewood Inc., until retirement due to illness. She was a member of Maine Presbyterian Church, Maine, MN. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, making gifts for her family and friends, flowers, and collecting knick knacks. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Kenneth Kegley; two daughters, Laurie Kegley and LaRae Veazie; and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Lyle Kegley of Dent and his children Roxanne, Rhonda, Rachael, Robin and Randi; Larry (Linda) Kegley of Dent and their children Christy and Kimberly; daughters, Lyn Frich of Fergus Falls and her children Cory, Brianna and Travis; LeAnn (Lyndon) Field of Dent and children Levi, Perry, Ryan and Eric; Lisa Kegley of Perham and children Nichole, Blayse and Morgan; son-in-law, Mike Veazie and children Patrick (Jessie), LaRae, Randa, Michael and Kendra; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Erna) Kuik of Lakewood, CO and Pete (Bobbie) Kuik of Tehachapi, CA; and a sister, Grace (Alvin) Johnson of Erhard, MN. Visitation 5-7 pm Tuesday, prayer service 7 pm at the Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, and also one hour prior to service at church. Service 1 pm Wednesday at Maine Presbyterian Church, Maine, MN, with Rev. Glenn Lord officiating. Interment Silent Vale Cemetery, Maine. Arr. Olson Funeral Home 218-736-7586
