Johnson Solveig A. Johnson, 74 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, formerly of Bloomington, MN, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2002 at her home in Little Falls. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2002 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Chapel in Minneapolis, MN. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Solveig was born on September 22, 1927 in Oviken, Sweden to the late Olaf & Amelia (Gudmonson) Swenson. She was 3 years of age, when her family moved to Little Falls, MN. She was united in marriage to Donald M. Johnson on June 4, 1948 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls. Solveig is survived by her sons, Steven Johnson & wife Jolene, Jeffrey Johnson and Bradley Johnson; a daughter, Becky Nelson & her late husband, Ric, all of Bloomington, MN; brothers, George, Sexton and Robert Swenson; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Callie, Hannah, Donmi, Mandi, Tony, Arielle and Krista); many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald M. Johnson; a brother, Gustave; and sisters, Birgitt, Marie & Christine. Arr. are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls (320-632-5242).
