Schentzel Edward H., age 76, of Edina. Preceded in death by 2 sisters. Survived by wife of 53 years, Genevieve; son, Keith; daughter, Joanne; brother-in-law, Jon & wife Dorothy Gilpin; sister-in-law, Gladys Gilpin; many nieces & nephews. Ed was past president of Edina Lion's Club and Mpls. Engineers Club. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, the MN Christmas Tree Growers Assoc., RAMS (Retired Agriculture Men's Assoc.), NSP retirees group and the American Legion. Memorial service 2 PM Friday, Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd., Edina. Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. & Hwy. 100 at Vernon Ave. Private interment. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
