McKay Mary Eileen (nee Doyle), age 91, of St. Paul, on August 17. Originally of Grand Rapids, MN. She was a 57 year resident of the St. Anthony Park area of St. Paul. A 1934 graduate B.S. of LaCrosse State Teachers College, she taught science and physical education in Foley, MN and started a volunteer tutoring program at St. Anthony Park Elem. School and served as a board member of the St. Anthony Park Branch Library and several community youth groups. Loved by family and friends, she is survived by Gerald, her beloved husband of 63 years; daughters, Sue Kjeer (Clayt) of Springer, OK, Marguerite Uphoff (Norman) of Ithaca, NY, Carolyn McKay of Mpls., Kathleen Lanfear (Ken) of Reston, VA; and son, Gerald R. McKay (Sandy) of Hillsborough, CA; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Margaret (Ted) Swanson of Braham, MN. Friends are invited to the family home for a reception 4-9 PM Friday, Aug. 23 at 2231 Hendon Ave., St. Paul. A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, Aug. 24 at CORPUS CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, North Fairview Ave. & Co. Rd. B, Roseville. Inurnment Sunset Memorial Park.
