Wayne Koelle

Koelle Wayne, 74, of Chattanooga, died Aug. 9, 2002 at a local hospital. He had lived here since 1983, prior to that resided in Des Moines, IA. Mr. Koelle retired from the trucking industry after 35 years of service, where he served as Vice President of Labor Relations. He attended Boynton United Methodist Church and was a US Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Avis Koelle; 2 sons, Christopher Henry Koelle of Chattanooga & Douglas Gran Koelle of Morris, IL; sister, Virginia Nelson of Sun City West, AZ; and 3 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Camp and Rev. John May officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Rd.
