Mary Maxwell Hinz

Mary Maxwell Hinz Age 90. Former Boone, IA resident, passed away August 8th at Abbott-Northwest Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on a farm near What Cheer, IA on March 26, 1912 to Robert & Mary Elizabeth Forsyth Maxwell. After receiving her degree from Iowa State Teachers College in 1932 Mary taught for many years while living in Sac City and Boone, IA. For the past five years Mary was a resident of the Presbyterian Homes of Lake Mtka. She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church of Long Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hinz; and by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons, John of Tonka Bay, MN and David of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Elizabeth Reiss of Bloomfield, NJ; and grandchildren, Brian Reiss of East Windsor, NJ, David Reiss of Arlington, VA and Jessica Hinz and Paul Hinz, both of Tonka Bay.
