Wunderlich, Shirley A. Age 89, of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on June 29th. Preceded in death by parents, Miller and Esther Pumarlo; sister, Betty (Carl) Ketter; and husband, Clarence Wunderlich. Survived by brother, Francis (Rose) Pumarlo; daughters, Sharon (Bryce) Peterson, Wendy (Lobo) Forsell,, Sandy (Craig) Tidemann; son, Ricky Wunderlich; grandchildren, Katje (Thomas) McCabe, Joel (Abby) Peterson, Brent Tidemann; 5 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Shirley loved working as a Sales Associate at JCPenneys into her 70s; figure skating into her 80s; sending time with grandchildren; working in her flower garden, swimming at the lake cabin. She was one of the original members of the Fridley Ice Skating Club. A member of the Minneapolis Adult Precision Skating Line, "THE MINNEAPPLE-CORPS". This team skated in many state competitions, winning 7 medals, between 1986- 1988. Many THANKS to the "family like staff" at Guardian Angels by The Lake in Elk River. Heartfelt THANKS to the wonderful ladies of Guardian Angels + Elim Hospice. Shirley gifted her body to the Anatomy Bequest Program at U of M. No service or wake will be arranged. Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to the donors favorite charity.
