Johnson Morgan Edward, 86, Minneapolis, MN, went to be with the Lord, his Savior, at Texas Terrace Convalescent Center, St. Louis Park, on Friday, July 12. He was born in 1915 in Duluth, MN to Clara & Edward Johnson. He is survived by daughter, Barbara (David) Anderson, Phoenix, AZ and son, Daniel Johnson (Kathy) and children Michael, Katie & Ashlee of Maple Grove, MN; and brother, Anton of Anoka; sister, Muriel Martinson of Lake Nebagamon, WI. He was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence and Lloyd. As a young man, Morgan worked as an auto mechanic, drove for Greyhound Bus, and eventually entered the automobile business. He was general manager of Downtown Chevrolet and owner of West Side Volkswagen and numerous other businesses. Morgan was on the board of directors of Campus Crusade for Christ in Minneapolis and one of three original incorporators of Lutheran Youth Encounter, Inc. Memorial service to be held at a later date.
