Scott, Russell Burridge age 43, of Minneapolis, died suddenly on October 24, 2006. "Rusty" was born on July 15, 1963 to Dr. Robert and Belle Scott. The greatest joy in his life came from his three wonderful daughters. He graduated from Central High School and Carleton College. He worked as a catering manager and salesman. A gifted athlete, he excelled at football, track, skiing, and golf. Among those who cherish his memory are his daughters, Elle, Sofie, and Gracie; his parents; grandfather, George Burridge; sister, Jennifer Gelo (Gordon); brothers, Peter Scott (Ron Zweber), and Jonathan Scott (Meseret Seyoum); nieces, Katherine Hunt, Sarah Hunt, Nardos Scott; and nephew, Nathaniel Scott; aunts and uncles; Jane and Richard Scott, Ann and Phillip Alderks, and Jennifer and Frederick Bagley; his cousins; and a multitude of friends. We will celebrate his life on Saturday morning, November 18th at 11 o'clock at Mayflower Community Congregational Church, 106 East Diamond Lake Road, Minneapolis, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be directed to the Hazelden Foundation, BC2, P.O. Box 11, Center City, MN.
