Wirsig, Jean C. Age 82, College professor, volunteer, wife and mother, needlepoint artist, birder, world traveler. Lived in Stillwater, River Falls, West St. Paul. Preceded in death by husband John G. Wirsig. Survived by children Nancy Wirsig McClure (Portland OR) and John Wirsig (Minneapolis), granddaughter and great-grandson Amanda Wirsig and Timothy Sticka (St Paul). Celebration of life (informal, secular): July 1, 6:30 PM, 61 W. Thompson Ave., West St. Paul. Memorials preferred to the John G. Wirsig Scholarship, UW River Falls.
