Carlton J. Carmody

Carmody Carlton J., age 82, of Bloomington, died peacefully on August 5. Preceded in death by twin brother, Carlyle; and wife, Frances, the mother of surviving children, Anne, Christopher and Mary Ellen; also survived by wife, Harriette; 6 grandchildren and a great-grandson; sister, Joanna. Core served in WWII as a 1st Lt. in the Army Air Corps in Italy and No. Africa. He was a History teacher and H.S. Administrator in Geneseo, NY from 1946 until his retirement. A Memorial Mass and interment will be held in Utica, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Allina Hospice and Palliative Care or to the family.
