Mary Elizabeth Oaks

Oaks Mary Elizabeth Oaks, 42, died August 3, 2002 at Baptist Medical Center-Beachers following a brief illness. She was born July 15, 1960 in Watertown, MN and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1997. Mary was an edit supervisor for Alliance Mortgage Company and enjoyed collecting cow memorabilia. She also enjoyed walking and gardening. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Family members include her husband, Marty Oaks; daughters, Megan (Chris) LeCuyer of Okinawa, Japan and Leslie Oaks of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Trinity and Alexander LeCuyer; brother, Thomas Derhaag of Arizona; sisters, Nancy Gollan and Cindy Weinzierl, both of Minnesota; and her mother & father-in-law. Her parents, a brother and a sister predeceased Mary. Visitation was held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 7 in the Quinn-Shalz Chapel, followed by a service celebrating her life at 7:00 PM with the Reverend William Kelly of St. Paul's Catholic Church, officiating. Services will be held at a later date in Mpls. Interment will be in Watertown, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
