Loehr Betty Charlotte. Funeral services for Betty Charlotte Loehr, 75, of Rochester, MN, will be Monday 11:00 AM at Ranfranz Funeral Home (Hwy. 52 N & 19th St. NW) in Rochester. Mrs. Loehr died Thursday August 1 at her Rochester home. Visitation will be Sunday (TODAY) 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester. Betty Charlotte Sandberg was born July 10, 1927 in Pine City, MN, the daughter of Axel and Pearl Sandberg. Raised in Minneapolis, she lived there until moving to Rochester in 1958. She married John Loehr on November 26, 1948 in Minneapolis. In Rochester, Mrs. Loehr was a medical secretary and supervisor with the Mayo Clinic for 33 years. She loved her family and friends. Hobbies included traveling, her Betty Boop collection, crossword puzzles, and enjoying life. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Mrs. Thomas) Ranfranz of Flandreau, SD; sons, Gregory Loehr & wife, Linda, of Weiser, ID, James Loehr & wife, Donna, William Loehr, and Daniel Loehr, all of Rochester, MN; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Clarice (Mrs. Glenn Dusty) Dustin of Brooklyn Park, MN, and Isabelle Nygren of Rowland Heights, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband; and an infant son. If so desired, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
