Flaten (Koenig) Arlene A., age 63 of Brooklyn Park, MN. Born January 17, 1939 in Mandan, ND, she passed away on August 2, 2002 after a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 5, 2002, at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN at 1 pm, with a visitation 1 hour prior. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Pauline Koenig of Mandan, ND; and survived by her husband of 43 years, Alfred Flaten of Brooklyn Park, MN; children, Laurie & Mike Thies of Omaha, NE, Leigh Ann & Mike Worrall of Brighton, CO, Noelle & Phil Jennerjohn of Mukwonago, WI, and Trisha & Tim Barner of Omaha, NE; and grandchildren, Matthew Thies, and Joshua Jennerjohn. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Edinburg, ND.
