Marion S. Poteete

Poteete, Marion S. Age 88, of Mound, MN. Passed away on May 28, 2015. Retired from Northwestern Bell/US West. Active in the Telephone Pioneers and Manager of their Pioneer Store for many years also active in the Gillespie Center. Preceded in death by adoring husband, Donald; parents, Otto and Lula and siblings, Luella, Irvin and Otto. Survived by children, Michel (Steve) Schaar and David Poteete (Lisa); granddaughter, Christina Schaar; sister, Vivian Lageson; nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorial service 11 AM on Wednesday, June 3rd at St. John's Lutheran Church of Mound, 2451 Fairview Lane, Mound, MN 55364. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church Sunday School, Gillespie Center, Mound Westonka Library or Animal Humane Society.
