Hastings, Dr. Thomas John Age 81, of Edina, MN, passed away on July 18, 2006. Survived by his beloved Ginny; son, Tom Hastings of OR; daughters, Holly Hastings of Edina, Leesa Gilmore of PA and Carrie Wanninger (John) of Edina; grandchildren, Cleve Hastings, Lee Hastings, Yuri Bates, Seth Bates, Vanessa Nordstrom (Derek), Erica Gilmore, Lexie Wanninger and Ellie Wanninger. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas & Mabel Hastings; spouses, Shelly and Ruth. Tom earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of MN where he also played ice hockey for the Golden Gophers upon his return from the Navy in WWII. He also was an avid tennis player. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hope Catholic Worker Community, 611 E. Franklin, Mpls, 55404. A memorial service is planned for Sat., July 29 at Lakewood Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave S, Mpls at 12:00 noon. Twin Cities Cremation 612-866-6711
