Thomas Roger Cowette

Cowette, Thomas Roger U of M Studio Arts Professor Emeritus, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2015 after a long struggle with cancer. Preceded in death by siblings Bette Morris, Douglas and William Cowette. Survived by wife Jenny Hassis; brother, Wayne; nieces, nephews and many ardent students of art. Celebration of Life June 6, 2-5 PM at Gallery 5004, 5004 42nd Avenue North, Robinsdale, MN. Memorials preferred to Department of Art Scholarships or Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota Cowette's work will also be on display at the gallery Thursday, June 4 6-9PM and Sunday, June 7, 12-4PM.
