Henderson, Maxine E. age 93, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Good Samaritan Village- Bethany in Brainerd after a brave battle with Dementia and Alzheimer's. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, June 1, 2015 at Washburn - McReavy Funeral Chapel (1400 Mainstreet - Hopkins, MN). Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Grandview Park Cemetery. Maxine Elizabeth was born May 8, 1922, in Hazelton Township, SD, the youngest of 11 children born to Charles and Minnie (Bailey) Weaver. Maxine and her entire family moved to Milaca, MN in 1924. Maxine was very proud of her family and of the town in which she was raised. In 1942, she married Kay H. Henderson and the couple raised five children together during their 57 years of marriage. Maxine was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sister, Edith Sundvall; daughter, Susan (Gary) Goll; sons, Dan (Patricia) Henderson, Gary Lee Henderson, Randel (Susie) Henderson, Thomas (Lyn) Henderson; grandchildren, Suzanne Urspringer, Gary (Wendy) Goll, II, Charles (Else) Goll, Amy Pope, Andy (Jen) Henderson, Kevin Henderson, Jessie Henderson, Erik (Erica) Henderson, Harvest (Scott Indiana) Henderson; great-grand children, Ashley, Kelsey, Caitlyn, Brooke, Luella, Bridger, Hailey, Crosby, Nolan, Chloe, Aidan, Gavin, Grady, and Frank; and many beloved nieces and nephews from her Weaver family of whom she was so proud. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kay; parents, Charles and Minnie; five brothers and four sisters. A special thank you to the wonderful staff and Dr. Ann Williams at Bethany Good Samaritan Village for the loving care they provided over the past 5 years.
