Groetsch, Jonathan "Billy" Given By God Age 26, of Wayzata, died on July 11, 2006 after a long and courageous 18- month struggle with colon cancer. The cancer may have taken his body, but could not touch his love of life, spirit, or soul. Survived by his loving parents, Bill and Carol; his main care- giver, sister Heather and beloved companions, Jon Lien and Marley. We would like to express our eternal gratitude to his host of family and friends who were always at his side, Heather, North Memorial Hospice Unit, his nurse Kay Keding, Doctor's Bloom, Westerdahl and Rosenstein, with deep appreciation to the St. Therese Community for all their prayers and endless food. Jon leaves a very rich legacy in his short life, the love of God, family, friends, values, dreams, memories and of course his love for fishing. His incredible determination to fight and beat his painful cancer and his will to live life each day to the fullest. He touched many lives. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church (18323 Minnetonka Blvd., Deephaven) with a Memorial Mass 11 AM Friday with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials strongly preferred to St. Therese Catholic Church or the North Memorial Hospice Unit. Private interment. Huber Funeral Homes Excelsior Chapel 952-474-9595
