Burnett (Derrickson), Nellie R. 11/12/1913 - 5/19/2015 Age 101, of Mpls. passed on to heaven to be with her beloved husband, Randolph (what a love affair) and son, John. Survived by daughter, Nelda Huggins (Harold); son, Phillip; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Known as "Mrs. Burnett" to over 100 children and 30 families, to whom she provided day care services for 35 years caring, nurturing and teaching life values. Per Nellie's request, there will be a private Christian service in Mt. Carroll, IL where she will rest along side Randolph once again and forever. cremationsocietyofmn.com
