Herman Theodor Herzl, age 80, of Edina, died on July 25, 2002. Preceded in death by parents, Aaron and Clara Ginsberg; brother, Dr. Bob Herman of New York. Survived by loving wife, Betty; son, Bradley Herman (Barbara Sweet); daughter, Nancy Perlman; grandchildren, Dara Herman and Michael Herman; further survived by brother, Dr. Norman ``Paul'' Herman (Marcia) of Los Angeles; nephew, Andrew Herman of Los Angeles; also survived by Betty's family who adored him and many other relatives, special friends and colleagues. Ted received his Bachelor's degree and Law degree from the University of Minnesota. He enjoyed a 31 year career as a legal editor, author and consultant at West Publishing. Ted was an optimist who shared his positive view of life and living with others. His listening ear, analysis and advice were used and appreciated by many people through the years. He loved gourmet cooking, wine, boating and his involvement with the Minnetonka Power Squadron. Ted co-founded in 1967 Amicus, a program still linking prison inmates with community volunteers. He was a valued member of Minnesota Department of Corrections Interfaith Community for Spiritual Growth. Memorial service SUNDAY 3 PM, HODROFF & SONS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 126 E.
