Frederick B. Leighton

Leighton Frederick B., age 83, died July 19, 2002. Preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Hoffman); his parents, Stanley & Winifred (Baker) Leighton and his brother, James. Survived by children, Conrad Leighton, Winifred Leighton & Rebecca Katers; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jeremy, Tabitha, Linnea and Isaac. Grew up in St. Croix Falls, WI. Led dance band in college. Army Supply Officer in India-WW II. A journalist at the Winona Daily News & St. Paul Pioneer Press. An administrator for numerous schools including Carleton College, Cornell College, Midland Lutheran College, Breck Academy and Dunwoody Institute. Funeral Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at 1 pm at White Bear Lake United Methodist Church. For more information call 651-429-5594.
