Ahlstrom Carla J., age 50, of Savage. Loving wife, mother and dedicated teacher. Carla showed strength through her years of illness. Survived by husband, Michael J.; son, Justin & fiancee Rebecca Cole; daughter, Abbey; mother, Marge Lindstrand & stepfather Earl of Winthrop; brothers, Chuck (Laurie) Saxton of Arden Hills, Gary Saxton of Plymouth; sisters, Lila (Dave) Heinz of St. Cloud, Sue Nelson of Winthrop. Preceded in death by her father, Lyle. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 11 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Savage. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Visitation at the church Sunday, 4-7 pm, and one hour prior to the Mass on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society Cavanaugh-McNearney 952-445-2755
