Robert T. Porter

Porter Robert T., 69, formerly of Bloomington, MN, passed away on June 23, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet; children, Linda (Mark) Pahl, Mark (Jodi) Porter and Karen Kelly; grandchildren, Jon, Susan, Justin, Mickey, Dylan, Taylor; sister, Mary Lou (Tom) Benson; sister-in-law, Sharon Wold; and many nieces and nephews. Bob grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where he graduated from high school in 1951. He served in the United States Navy and was an employee of Unisys for 38 years. After retiring, Bob became an avid golfer, he and Janet moved to Goodyear, AZ where Bob also enjoyed genealogy, reading and walking. He was a dedicated father and husband and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held in Eau Claire, WI on Thursday, July 11, 2002 at Evergreen Funeral Home at 11 am.
