Ishaug, Virgil D. age 81, of Fridley. Preceded in death by parents, Melvin & Nora; brothers, Harley & Percy. Survived by loving wife of almost 50 years, Joan; children, Patty (Rich) Pieper, Suzie (Pete) Riley, Brian (Adriana Guevara) Ishaug; grandchildren, Marcos, Nicolas, Katie, Allie, Jackson, Katie (Brian), Anna, David, Sarah & Meghan; great-grandchildren, Ursula & Isolde; sister, Shirley Irey; brothers, Ordean (Maureen), Bobby (Betty) & Doug (Jerry); also nieces, nephews, friends & relatives. Originally from Pelican Rapids, MN, Virgil served 4 years in the Air Force, graduated from NDSU & worked as an auditor 40+ years. He was a member of the Am. Legion and the Sons of Norway. Funeral service Monday, May 11, 10 AM at St. Philips Lutheran Church, 6180 Hwy. 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, Sunday 5-8 PM and one hour prior to service at church. Interment Ft. Snelling.
