Gladys Reuter

Reuter, Gladys passed away on April 24, 2015 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, William. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Blaylock and Mary Jo Staite; 3 grandchildren, Michael Blaylock, Dawn Giacalone and Ryan Staite; and a great-granddaughter, Shannon Giacalone. Gladys was one of the first women to serve in the Merchant Marines on the Great Lakes contributing to the war effort of WW2. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 30 at 10:00 in Assumption Church, 305 East 77th Street in Richfield. Mass will follow at 11:00 with burial in Assumption Cemetery. Lunch will follow.
