Ulrich, Gertrude P. age 87, of Richfield. Longtime leader in civic and political activities. She served on the Richfield City Council and two terms on the Metropolitan Council. Preceded in death by husband, Jerome; daughter Lora Ulrich, and siblings, Robert Willems, Paul Willems and Marion Koevenig. Survived by children, Franz Ulrich and wife, Lisa Bormann; Fred Ulrich; Margaret Berrisford and husband, Paul; Lona Healam and husband, John, and Ted Ulrich; grandchildren, Mark Ulrich, Kathryn Berrisford, Chris Ulrich and Gwen Berrisford and sister, Lora Swanson. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, ( May 1 ) at 2:30 PM, at Church of the Assumption, 305 E. 77th St., Richfield. Interment Assumption Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S, and one hour prior to Mass at the Church.
