Edward R. Slebiska

Slebiska Edward R., age 91, of Buffalo, on July 5. He was born October 8, 1910 in rural Yellow Medicine County, MN, the youngest child of Frank H. and Anna (Pridal) Slebiska. He was instrumental in starting Wright-Hennepin Co-op Electric and served as its General Manager from 1937 until he retired in January of 1976. In 1933 he married Evelyn W. Nyquist and in 1962 he married Genevieve (Karpen) Kelley. He is survived by his sister, Julia Sarenpa of Cokato; 2 daughters, Karen Kennelly of Phoenix, AZ and Deanna Enwiller of St Louis Park; 2 sons, Phil (Pat) Kelley of Walker, MN and Bill (Jinny) Kelley of Belleaire, FL; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by first wife, Evelyn; second wife, Genevieve; parents; a brother, Stanley; a sister, Mary (in infancy); and a son-in-law, Bob Kennelly. Funeral Service 2 PM, Tuesday at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Maple Lake. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM.
